We are relatively close to a number of competition and training centres, including Keysoe, Bury Farm, Addington, Milton Keynes and, slightly further afield, Aston le Walls. If you fancy something a little more sedate, we have miles of Bedfordshire bridleway straight out of our front gate that is excellent for hacking.

Walkers We are situated right next to Marston Thrift, which is part of the Forest of Marston Value. Straight from our front door we have access to some of the most beautiful walking in Bedfordshire. letsgo.org.uk has masses of information about the county's walks, country parks, rides and nature reserves, and you can find details of the particular routes that go from Marston Moretayne here.

The Millennium Country Park S buzzard

About one mile from the farm is the Green Flag award winning Millennium Country Park and Forest Centre, which is generally recognised as one of the best parks in the country. Walkers, riders and cyclists can explore the 225 hectares of woodlands, lakes, wetlands and grasslands on a range of different surfaced routes and mown paths.

CyclingCycling

Cycling is very popular around where we live. In addition to the more sedate routes around the Millennium Park and Stewartby Lake, there are many longer, more challenging routes on road. britishcycling.org.uk maintains a database of all cycle events and races happening throughout the country, and a list of the ones taking place nearby can be found here

Woburn On the farm you feel tucked away in your own little piece of rural Bedfordshire. But that is not to say you are cut from civilisation. Less than a 15 minutes drive you will find safari parks, theatres, sporting activities and more shopping than your wallet could possible handle.

One of our favourite places to go is the Woburn Estate, which is home to Woburn Abbey and Gardens and Woburn Safari Park. The Safari park in particular has regular special events and attractions, and is a great plae to go whatever the weather, having both a road safari and a foot safari.

Nearby is Milton Keynes Theatre and Xscape, which is home to the MK Snowdome and a Cineworld multiplex cinema.

Sport and LesiureS golf
